Whether as a photo trap in hunting grounds or for monitoring properties and buildings - with the Scouting Cam Black400 Dual WiFi, BRAUN Photo Technik presents a particularly versatile wildlife camera. The Scouting Cam Black400 Dual WiFi has various WiFi frequencies. The user can choose between two frequencies in the menu, which enable a direct connection from the camera to the smartphone. 2.4 GHz for a longer range but slower transmission and 5 GHz for a shorter range but faster transmission.
Recordings can be viewed, downloaded and deleted using the free app. The inconvenience of removing the memory card is thus eliminated with the Black400 Dual WiFi. The app also enables a live preview with the option to record images and videos manually.
In addition to convenient data transfer, the system settings of the wildlife camera can also be managed via the WiFi connection and the app.
Furthermore, the BRAUN Scouting Cam Black400 Dual WiFi can record videos up to a resolution of 1440P, while photos can be taken with an image resolution of up to 48 MP. Thanks to the built-in infrared LEDs and the 4MP CMOS image sensor, both day and night shots are possible.
The images can be saved on a microSD memory card with up to 256 GB. The wildlife camera also has a USB-C slot for connection to a PC and TV.
The resolution of the photos and videos can be set via the connected smartphone and the app, as can many other parameters. However, settings can also be made directly on the camera via the control panel and the 2.0’ TFT colour display. The recordings can also be viewed conveniently and directly via the colour display. The video resolution can be varied from 1440P to 1080P and 720P (30fps). The image resolution can be set between 48MP and 4MP. The Braun SC400 Dual WiFi also has an integrated PIR motion sensor with three different sensitivities, a detection angle of 90 degrees, a trigger distance of up to 20 metres and a trigger time of approx. 0.6 seconds.
The wildlife camera from BRAUN Photo Technik also has an integrated microphone, a loudspeaker, password protection, a time-lapse mode and the display of date, time, moon phase and temperature. The robust and weatherproof (IP66) wildlife camera can be easily attached to the desired location thanks to a mounting strap and a practical tree mount. The operating temperature range extends from -20°C to +60°C. The standby time is around eight months. The camera is powered by six AA batteries. Optionally, the camera can also be operated with a 9V 1A mains adapter.
