The NV-MPP1 Sx4 is a set of four NV-MPP1 multi-purpose anti-vibration pads for Noctua 120x25mm and 140x25mm fans (see fan compatibility). When installed in the “stand” position, they are a great, simple solution for putting a fan on any level surface to have it blowing sideways, e.g. in order to provide extra airflow on a desk or towards devices that have ventilation holes on the sides. Installed on the intake side of the fan, the pads can also be utilised to put a fan underneath small devices such as switches, routers or set-top-boxes that have ventilation holes at the bottom side, blowing cool air into the device. This way, the pads can also be used to put fans on top of A/V receivers or other devices that have ventilation holes on top in order to help exhaust hot air. Last but not least, the pads can be installed on the outlet side of the fan in order to position it blowing cool air down onto devices that can benefit from extra airflow from above. In either of these configurations, the NV-MPP1’s soft, heat-proof silicone rubber will efficiently prevent any transmission of vibrations. Thanks to the integrated mounting pins, fixing the pads to compatible Noctua fans is a breeze. Optional NA-FG1 fan grills can be installed if required.

Ideal for installing fans underneath devices
When installing fans underneath devices, it is crucial that the fan can draw in sufficient air. The NV-MPP1 introduce an offset of 10mm between the fan and the base surface, which allows the fan to draw in plenty of air from the sides in order to achieve optimal cooling performance.

Anti-vibration design
Made from thick, soft silicone rubber and featuring thin ribs on the device side, which create a smaller contact area and therefore further reduce the transmission of vibrations, the NV-MPP1 have been designed to suppress vibrations from ground up.

Can be combined with NV-MPG1
While the set of four NV-MPP1 is ideal for installing fans underneath devices and can also be used to place fans blowing sideways or for exhaust applications, the NV-MPP1 can also be combined with the NV-MPG1-12 gasket in order to create a tighter seal between the fan and the device for more efficient ventilation.

Easy installation
Thanks to the integrated mounting pins and lips, installing the NV-MPP1 on compatible Noctua 120 or 140mm fans such as the NF-A12x25 or NF-A14 is a breeze: Simply press the pads onto the fan until the pins go through the mounting holes and the lip wraps around the corners of the fan. Done!

Ideal with Noctua’s USB-powered 5V fans
When it comes to installing fans anywhere in your home, office or other environments, the NV-MPP1 are an ideal match for use with Noctua’s USB-powered 5V PWM fans. Unlike many cheap USB fans, Noctua’s award-winning premium fans are built to last and come with a 6-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Compatible with fan grills
The NV-MPP1 have been designed with fan grills in mind: If your application requires extra protection, you can simply add a fan guard such as the NA-FG1-12 or NA-FG1-14 on top of the NV-MPP1’s in order to make sure that the fan blades cannot be touched. The NV-MPP1 don’t even have to be removed for doing so.
