Acer Connect Ovia T520 is a desktop wireless router designed to deliver fast, reliable home and small-office networking for streaming, gaming, and connected devices. It uses tri-band Wi-Fi 7 across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands with Multi-Link Operation to help maintain responsive connections and higher throughput for multiple simultaneous users. The router combines a 2.5G WAN port and a built-in 3-port Gigabit switch for flexible wired connections, while mesh networking support and Firmware Over-the-Air updates simplify coverage expansion and ongoing maintenance.
Security and management features include firewall protection, VPN support, WPA3 encryption, and web filtering to help safeguard devices and data on the network. Internal six-antenna design, a quad-core 1.5 GHz processor, and dedicated memory provide the processing and wireless capacity needed to support advanced features like MLO and backward compatibility with older Wi-Fi standards for a seamless user experience across a range of client devices.
