The InLine® MCIO x8 breakout cable connects an MCIO x8 (SFF-TA-1016) host connector to up to eight SATA drives. It is suitable for systems in which multiple SATA HDDs or SATA SSDs are to be connected via a compact cabling solution.
By splitting a single MCIO x8 connector across eight SATA 7-pin connectors, the cable reduces the amount of cabling required within the system and facilitates a tidy installation. It is designed for use with server motherboards, RAID controllers and tri-mode HBAs featuring an MCIO interface.
The breakout cable supports SATA data connections and is available in lengths of 0.5 m, 0.75 m and 1 m. The high-quality construction ensures reliable signal transmission.
