Shelly Wall Display is a 4” Android-based touch screen that provides easy control of your home or office. With a minimalist design, sleek user interface, and customizable home screen, Shelly Wall Display will not only fit perfectly into your interior but can also be adapted to the room’s needs. In this bundle, a Shelly BLU H&T temperature and humidity sensor is included, which can report a more accurate room temperature to the Shelly Wall Display. On the device’s home screen, you get a quick overview of your favorite devices and scenes. You can also use Shelly Wall Display to control your Bluetooth and Sonos speakers. Wall Display has a thermostat function and can be used to regulate the room temperature. The device also shows the current power consumption, room temperature, and humidity. Like all other Shelly devices, Shelly Wall Display integrates perfectly with more than 200 partner systems such as Home Assistant, Homey, SmartThings, Google, Alexa, and many more. It is also possible to add virtual devices to the screen, which can be used to activate third-party devices through webhook calls in Home Assistant or similar. Function Shelly Wall Display is installed in European wall boxes. It is recommended that the screen be installed at a height that is comfortable to look at and operate. Wall Display has a built-in 5A relay, which can be used to control lights, underfloor heating, or other devices. The device also has a built-in temperature sensor, humidity sensor, lux sensor, and thermostat function. Connection Shelly Wall Display can connect to the internet or the local network on 2.4 GHz WiFi. Additionally, the device has built-in Bluetooth like the rest of the Pro and Plus devices, so it can also be used as a gateway for Shelly Bluetooth devices. Shelly Wall Display works locally without connection to Shelly Cloud, but it is recommended to activate it for easy data storage and increased functionality. The device can also communicate via MQTT, HTTP, and WebSocket. Hardware The device is equipped with generation 2 hardware, which includes a powerful ESP32 processor. Additionally, it is equipped with extra safety features such as over-temperature, over-voltage, over-current, and overload protection. The new hardware also allows for scripting functions for advanced and customized functionality as well as a range extender function with the device.
