18560 rechargeable batteries are the highest volume standard battery used in lighting products. The 18650 battery is a great alternative for products that utilize 2xCR123A disposable batteries. Not only are you being environmentally friendly by eliminating disposable batteries, but the 18650 battery also provides different levels of capacity for your exact need and is rechargeable. For example, you can get 30% more capacity out of a ARB-L18-3500 compared to a ARB-L18-2600. In addition, Fenix batteries are built with safety in mind. The high capacity 18650 Li-ion rechargeable batteries each provide protection circuits in the anode to help prevent short circuits, over charge/discharge and over heating. Fenix’s 18650 batteries have a guaranteed lifespan of 500 charge cycles. This means that the battery will recharge to at least 75% of its original battery capacity 500 times over. Compared to single-use batteries, rechargeable batteries are both cost-efficient and more useful for the consumer, offering extended runtimes and capacity on a single charge. Not only that, they are also beneficial to the environment by limiting the amount of single-use products and discarded chemicals.
